The movie in one three words – Unique and Funny. The movie Hancock stars Will Smith as drunk superhero with a bad attitude who does more damage to the city than help whenever he does his superhero duties. He does so much damage that people actually hate him whenever he fights crime.
One day though, Hancock saves Ray Embrey from being hit by a train but in doing so derails the train so badly that people who saw the “rescue” got furiously mad at him once more. Ray on the other hand pacifies the crowd and thanks Hancock publicly. Ray then makes it his mission to improve the public image of the not-so-popular superhero.
As the story goes, John Hancock meets Ray’s wife Mary (Charlize Theron) who also had special powers that Ray didn’t know of. Hancock asks Mary for an explanation which ended up in a fight between the two. Mary then tells both Ray and Hancock of her superpowers and that she technically is Hancock’s wife.
I won’t tell you the rest of the story but if you really want to read more of the plot and just go over to Wikipedia and read it there.
So what do I think of the movie? Well, it’s unique and hilarious considering that we are all used to superheroes being loved by the public. Hancock on the other hand portrays a drunk, sad and lonely superhero who’s got some serious problem and has no idea of who he really is. It’s actually more of a comedy-drama than an action movie.
Would I tell you to go and watch it? Yes, I would. It’s another must watch movie for the family.

So not really on the same topic as your post, but I found this today and I just can’t resist sharing. Mrs. Agathe’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman. Since she had to go to work the next day, she told him, “I’ll leave the key under the mat. Fix the dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter, and I’ll mail you the check. Oh, and by the way…don’t worry about my Doberman. He won’t bother you. But, whatever you do, do NOT under ANY circumstances talk to my parrot!” When the repairman arrived at Mrs. Agathe’s apartment the next day, he discovered the biggest and meanest looking Doberman he had ever seen. But just as she had said, the dog simply laid there on the carpet, watching the repairman go about his business. However, the whole time the parrot drove him nuts with his incessant cursing, yelling and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn’t contain himself any longer and yelled, “Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!” To which the parrot replied, “Get him, Spike!”
